This is a formal invitation for you to join me in something that I believe is EPIC. I may not know you at all. You may have stumbled across me on your own through the MAGIC of the WORLD WIDE WEB. I may have just noticed you from afar, and suggested that you check out this invitation. Rather it was the inspiring positivity radiating from your social media posts that drew me to you or internet magic that caused you to STUMBLE across me. Either way it was meant to be.
You see I am STARTING a REVOLUTION!! One where NATURALISTAS JOIN forces to CHANGE the world. I believe it is AWESOME to partner with like minded sisters. If I did personally invite you...I hope I did not seem annoying or pestering at times. I never mean to come across that way. I may have been persistent and it's simply because I have this vision in my head of what GREATNESS we can CREATE together rather I found you or you found me. I understand that I may not know you very well, if at all...yet. I have been very clear on the type of women I ask God to bring into my life. I truly BELIEVE in my HEART and SOUL He has sent me YOU for a reason. We are meant to link arms and SUCCEED together.
I am looking for AMBASSADORS of CHANGE who are ready to undergo a TOTAL LIFESTYLE TRANSFORMATION then PAY IT FORWARD with a SPLASH of COLOR to help others EXPERIENCE THE same. I know a thing or two about SUCCESS. I have also experienced my fair share of failures. The success didn't MAKE me and the failure didn't BREAK me. I LEARNED so much from both. Most of my failures were the result of trying to force ventures that were not designed to be helping businesses to become helping businesses. I always attempted to twist them into avenues to be profitable while helping others in an UNREALISTIC fashion and ELIMINATING all the risk for clients and investors. No business or business owner can eliminate risk or loss completely. That plan didn't work because business isn't meant to work that way. That's why you strike out on your own or invest. It's to take the LIMITS off of yourself. On the downside, you risk loss but on the upside, you can have unlimited gains.
What kept drawing me back to coaching, is while it's not risk-free. It's designed to be a business with a small downside potential and an unlimited upside. It's exactly what I was trying to create. Like any franchise, you have an initial investment and continued investment. Only instead of being HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars to start your business and thousands of dollars of continued investment. You can become a LIFESTYLE TRANSFORMATION COACH with the backing of a major brand...with phenomenal products for about the cost of a ladies night. By opting to go the "franchise" route you have a HUGE company with a brand name and customer support already in place. You also have a company that spends millions on marketing and provide you with built in followers. The ABSOLUTE best part is YOUR mission will be to help others reach their goals and YOUR company will stand behind you because that is their mission as well.

You are able to design a FUTURE where you earn an income, however big or small based on INSPIRING others and MOTIVATING them to live a FIT and HEALTHY life. Hopefully not just regarding FITNESS but in all aspects of life. While coaching is PHENOMENAL and I plan to have a HUGE impact on the lives of others through it, preferably with you by my side. I have a second PASSION that I hope to see COACHING and my partnership with you fulfill.
I'm very open about the fact that I was sexually abused for 6 years as a child. Ultimately it led to me being raped when I was 10 years old. I didn't find the COURAGE to report the abuse and turn in my anti-father (stepfather) until I was 11. It was the most EMPOWERING thing I have done in my life thus far. What I didn't know and wouldn't realize for almost 20 years is how much healing something like that truly requires. I thought because I always remained the ideal daughter, who got good grades, respected her elders, loved her family, and strove for success that meant I was okay, great even.
That was SOOOO not the case!! I was so much more broken than I ever realized. I spent years eating my pain and didn't even recognize it. I believed that was a cliché and something only the weak did until I realized that it's exactly what I did day after day. I knew I was STRONG so having this issue didn't make me weak it made me human. It also isn't a sign of weakness in others. It is something that people need help and support to overcome. That is what I am here to offer. Our Lifestyle Transformation Challenges aka Fit for a Cause Challenges, also raise money and awareness for organizations that help SURVIVORS THRIVE.
I shared that bit of information with you not to make you feel sorry for me, but to give you additional insight into me. I want you to understand why I'm on the MISSION and why I need you to JOIN me. This mission will lead us to make the Fit Curl Coalition the top team in Beachbody. We are a REVOLUTIONARY team that breaks down stereotypes...race, gender, and body image. The Fit Curl, MisFIT Toy, and ThickFIT ambassadors that presently make up the G.R.I.N.D. & S.H.I.N.E. Legacy will LEARN to LOVE themselves and Pay It FORWARD with a Splash of Color.

Ultimately it will also lead to Crossroads Assault Survivors Team coming to fruition. Crossroads is MY DREAM!! It is an outlet for all the little girls who were like me. Considering that 1 in 4 girls will be sexually assaulted or experience attempted sexual assault in their lifetime. I see a MAJOR need for the organization. There is a GAP I hope to feel when it comes to helping teens heal from sexual assault. The issue is that the help is geared towards the girls who clearly need it. The ones that fit my profile more often than not slip through the cracks. They carry on after whatever horrific event they face, they put on a brave face and their mantra is I must be STRONG, I must be GOOD, I must not cause others more worry.
They never call out for help so no one knows they need it. Most times not even them. Part of the vision of Crossroads is to have a strong base of DYNAMIC women living lives that are an example to others. These women are capable (If they choose) of mentoring these girls who the system constantly overlooks.
The vision for our team is very clear in my mind but I hope it expands and evolves as more Fit Curl Ambassadors partner with me. The women on our team range from stay at home moms to corporate climbers. A lot of our sisters are artists in their own right, whether literally or their canvas is the face or hair. Medical professionals also join us because they can MAKE an impact on someone's life BEFORE they see them in a hospital bed. The vision as we continue to GROW is to create a team that embraces and uplifts women of all backgrounds, shapes, and sizes. We will be coaches that often are not skinny. We may be significantly overweight at the start of our journey. Most will strive to get THICK FIT, in other words get healthy while embracing our CURVES. We will take people on the along for the ride as we share our transformation story. We have a desire to help everyone live their fittest, healthiest, happiest life. A life where they are EMPOWERED and FREE to live life as they choose. I hope this life is full of wealth and dreams come true. The second part of our vision consists of a team of HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of black and brown women defying stereotypes.

These women have DISCOVERED the beauty they possess INSIDE and OUT. They understand life is about choice and that may mean they ROCK their hair natural or in a weave. It doesn't matter because they know their POWER resides in loving themselves through THICK and THIN in the SKIN they are IN. These women are committed to showing the world that we care more about our health than our hairdo. That we enjoy being able to eat the stereotypical fattening foods our cultures in moderation but are willing to make the changes necessary to live a FIT & HEALTHY life. We will show them that we are willing to invest in OUR health at the expense of having the latest fashion accessory because short term sacrifice leads to LONG TERM gain and WE are VISIONARIES if nothing else.
We aspire to build something where women of color are greatly, equally, and actively represented. In our vision we see these women not only reaching all of their health goals but their spiritual, mental, and wealth goals as well. I invite you to take a serious look at the opportunity I am putting before you because just like natural hair is the taking the world by storm, so will living a healthy lifestyle. As we fully recognize the toll unhealthy choices are wreaking on our lives and the lives of our families, a movement is coming.
